Burn Bright! The Ultimate Yakitori Shack!
Fri. 11/20 – Mon. 11/23
Kuiya—a legendary bird who utterly detests the number "9" (pronounced Ku in Japanese) and has spent its life running from it. Having dodged countless traps, fate took a cruel turn when Kuiya was suddenly surrounded by a flock of "9s" (the Ku clan hunting for Kuiya) and captured at last—!
The desperate bird’s final destination? None other than the special Yakitori booth hosted by Kyoto University's Department of Global Engineering, Freshman Class T3, at the November Festival! The bird that feared the number nine is now enveloped in aromatic smoke and secret sauce, reborn as ultimate mouth-watering yakitori!
Thanks to the recent surge in popularity sparked by Daisuke Imahori, the legend of "Kuiya" is taking the community by storm. Now, you can actually taste the legend for yourself! Bringing together the analytical minds of Global Engineering T3, we’ve rigorously calculated and tested the perfect ratio of heat, grilling time, and sauce. Each skewer is grilled to perfection—crispy on the outside, incredibly juicy on the inside.
