Hello!
We are the Kyoto University Branch of the NPO "STUDY FOR TWO."
Our activities consist of three parts: Collection, Sales, and Support.
・Collection
We receive donations of used books from university students once they have finished with them.
・Sales
The donated books are resold at low prices, mainly to university students.
・Support
We devote at least 80% of our profits to educational support for children in developing countries.
Specifically, the funds go toward activities such as:
Educational support projects for developing countries
International exchange projects with children in developing countries
Public awareness and outreach projects on international cooperation and the educational environment in developing countries
Educational support projects for students in Japan
At NF, the Kyoto University Chapter will handle Collection and Sales.
Every year, we collect textbooks and secondhand books that are no longer needed from many visitors. At NF, we will also sell a wide variety of books, including novels, academic books, and textbooks, at low prices (half price or less!).

We devote at least 80% of our profits to educational support for children in developing countries. Specifically, the funds go toward activities such as:
Girls' Education Program
Literacy Education Program
For example, if you contribute 7,500 yen through STUDY FOR TWO, it can fund one child's literacy education program in Tanzania for one year.
Our mission is to connect developed and developing countries through education. This is what we do at STUDY FOR TWO.
