Kyoto University History and Byzantine Empire Society exhibition
Fri. 11/20 – Mon. 11/23
Kyoto University History and Byzantine Empire Society
Our society has more than 50 years of long history, and are one of the finest history circles in the university.
Our society offers a rich and varied programme of scholarly and cultural activities. These include member-led presentations, study sessions and film screenings held once or twice a week, alongside excursions to historic sites throughout the Kansai region once or twice a month. We also convene reading groups devoted to classic works across a broad range of disciplines and host culinary events in which members prepare dishes from around the world and recreate the cuisines of past eras.
At this year's NF, our society is delighted to present an ambitious programme bringing together the full breadth of our members' talents and interests. Alongside displays of foreign banknotes, historical photographs and taxidermy specimens drawn from the collections of the society and its members, we will exhibit materials from our regular study sessions.
Visitors may also debate an Al extensively trained intelligent design, theory, explore poster displays featuring quizzes on Byzantium and Rome, and purchase our society's journal and original mock examinations for Kyoto University entrance.
In keeping with our annual tradition, we have marshalled the collective efforts of our entire society to offer an occasion of exceptional variety and scope.
