We are the Kyoto University Recorder Club! We regularly get together to play the recorder at our club meetings.

Many of the pieces we perform at our concerts are arranged by our own members, allowing us to explore a wide variety of musical genres.

When you think of recorders, you probably picture the soprano and alto recorders that you played in elementary or junior high school. However, we also use recorders of various sizes, both smaller and much larger, to create rich ensemble performances.

The world of recorders is surprisingly diverse, and we warmly invite you to come and discover it for yourself!
