Architecture Portfolio Exhibition by Kyoto Architectural Students' Association

Kyoto Architectural Students' Association was established in 1989, and “The 1st Kyoto Six Universities Diploma Exhibition” was held by Kyoto University, Kyoto Institute of Technology, Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto University of Art and Design (now Kyoto University of the Arts), Kyoto Seika University, and Kyoto Prefectural University in the following year, 1990. In 2006, participation expanded to the Kinki area due to the growing attention toward university diploma projects, the increased societal interest in architecture, and the heightened level of awareness among students themselves. The event was renamed “Diploma×KYOTO” at that time. In addition, we have also organized portfolio displays for participating students in recent years; this year, we are exhibiting these at the university festivals of Kobe University and Kyoto University. Marking its 36th edition, this year’s main exhibition will be held at Miyako Messe over three days, from Friday, February 26 to Sunday, February 28, 2027, bringing together more than 230 participants from 25 universities. Please join us to experience the moment where the experiences and aspirations of architecture students converge—a culmination of their four years of university study, and the first step toward their future endeavors.
