Welcome to the exciting musical cafe presented by Curtain Call, Kyoto University’s currently sole musical theater circle!

Right before your eyes in our cozy cafe space, powerful singing and dancing performances will instantly whisk you away into the extraordinary world of musicals.

Inside the cafe, we’ll bring you energetic renditions of numbers from famous musicals everyone knows and loves!

　A special show packed with beloved songs from hit musicals such as The Greatest Showman, Aladdin, Annie, Wicked, La La Land, Mamma Mia!, The Lion King, Hairspray, and more! With two alternating setlists, you can enjoy a different experience every time you visit!

*・Relive the magic of our summer production! “Les Miserables” Special Production*

　The passionate world of our successful summer show Les Misérables is back exclusively for NF in a special condensed medley! Experience all that energy and emotion up close in our cafe’s intimate setting.

We’ve created a fun, playful menu that lets you experience the world of each show through both taste and visual presentation!

About the organizer

Kyoto University Musical Company Curtain Call

Founded in November 2023, Curtain Call is currently Kyoto University’s sole musical theater circle. As a relatively new circle, we approach every musical performance as an exciting process of trial and error. From acting, singing, and dancing to direction, sound, lighting, stage design, and costumes, every member—those on stage and behind the scenes—works together to bring unforgettable performances to life.

　We stage two major hall performances a year—one in summer and one in winter—along with our spring welcome show. Our past repertoire includes well-known titles such as “Wicked”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Anastasia”, “The Sound of Music”, and “Les Misérables”.

　This December, our 3rd-generation members will take the lead for the first time in our winter production, “1789: Les Amants de la Bastille.” If you enjoy our musical cafe, we would love for you to join us at the theater this winter!
