Kyoto University Astronomy Lovers' Association
京都大学天文同好会は、普段の活動では新月期に星を見に行くイベントである「観望会」や「出撃」を実施しています。大学の授業の終わる5限後に集合し、車で奈良・京都の山間部、遠い所では三重県の海岸沿いまで足を延ばして星空観察を行い、1限が始まるまでに京大に戻ってきます。星空観察の仕方にも色々あり、ただぼうっと星を眺めたり、双眼鏡を用いて天体を見たり、カメラと望遠鏡を駆使して遠方の銀河や星雲を撮影する人まで、楽しみ方は人それぞれ。ですので、天文にそこまで詳しくない人でも気軽に活動に参加できるのが当サークルの強みです。
合宿も春・夏・冬の年に3回実施しており、普段の観望会・出撃ではなかなか行けない距離の、より街明かりの影響の少ない観望地へ星空を見に行っています。さらには、観光地を巡ったり、体育館でスポーツしたりと、合宿ならではのイベントも充実しています。
11月祭では、そんな普段から星空を眺めている会員オリジナルのプラネタリウム公演や、会員が撮影した写真の展示や販売が行われます。ぜひ足を運んでみてください。
