Kyodai Curry Club

We are a culinary club that engages in a wide range of activities centered around our passion for curry. When the club was founded in 2010, we were originally a group of curry enthusiasts who explored curry restaurants in Kyoto, a city known for a battleground of curry. However, in our pursuit of delicious curry that would truly satisfy our own tastes, our members began making authentic curry from scratch, using whole spices. Over time, the club expanded its activities as we became increasingly serious about studying and experimenting with curry. Today, our activities extend far beyond simply making and eating curry. We participate in external events, appear in the media, and collaborate with companies to develop and release original products. As we continued researching spices, we became fascinated by their incredible depth and versatility. This has led an increasing number of our members to explore not only curry, but also Indian cuisine and various other ethnic cuisines. What started as a simple gathering of curry lovers has grown into what we now proudly call a comprehensive culinary club.

Our passion for curry has remained unchanged since the club was founded. For us, NF is the culmination of our year-round curry research and our biggest event of the year. “We want as many people as possible to taste our curry, and we want them to get to know who we are.” With these thoughts in mind, we repeatedly test and refine our recipes, engaging in serious discussions and pursuing the best possible dish right up until the day of the event. Along the way, there are times when we clash with one another precisely because we are so committed to creating something truly delicious. For us, there is no greater joy than seeing everyone enjoy the curry we have finally arrived at after countless rounds of trial and error.

Every year, Kyodai Curry Club assigns different members to take charge of each of the four days, with each person pursuing their own ultimate curry. This year, too, our members are working together around each day’s lead chef to create and present the best original curry we can. Each of the four days features a one-of-a-kind dish that can only be enjoyed on that particular day. We sincerely hope you will come and savor the curry we have poured our hearts into creating.
