Explore the Origin of the Moon!
Many hypotheses have been proposed to explain the origin of the Moon. Since the Apollo missions, the Giant Impact Hypothesis has been regarded as the standard model of lunar formation. However, recent findings have raised new questions, and alternative formation scenarios have been proposed. This lecture will introduce the history of lunar origin theories and highlight the latest advances in our understanding of how the Moon formed.
